Science Department
The Science Chair is a hub for interdisciplinary academic output. Our conferences bring together researchers, academics, and experts from different countries under one roof; presented papers are evaluated by an academic committee of experts in their fields and transformed into an international proceedings book at the end of the conference. Spanning a wide range of topics from migration to identity, from linguistics to social violence, each edition focuses on a new theme.
But the knowledge produced here doesn't stay confined to the podium. Every presentation also carries a single question: What does the theory say about this, what does the lived experience show, do the two overlap, and if not, why? Culture, gastronomy, tourism, business, international relations, psychology, folklore, and history are not separate topics for us, but different disciplinary lenses looking at the same person, the same society.
